Our Mission
Redesign Rupert aims to bring together community organizations, citizens, industrial stakeholders, and local businesses to revitalize the downtown core, improve public waterfront access, and address a community-wide human capital shortage in Prince Rupert, BC.
The Redesign Rupert team is comprised of people who have a passion for helping to build a stronger, more economically diverse Prince Rupert.
Directed by a Steering Committee and managed by a Project Coordinator, Redesign Rupert is a coordinated effort to make life better in Prince Rupert.
Redesign Rupert has three high-level goals that serve as a touchstone for all community partnerships, strategic initiatives, and action planning:
The Redesign Rupert project is a partnership between Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest and the City of Prince Rupert.
Redesign Rupert is made possible by funding from the BC Rural Dividend Fund, the City of Prince Rupert, and Community Futures Development Corporation of the Pacific Northwest.
