Prince Rupert 2030 Community Presentation

In partnership with the City of Prince Rupert, Community Futures, the Prince Rupert Port Authority, DP World, Ray-Mont Logistics, and Ridley Terminals Inc., Redesign Rupert is excited to announce the unveiling of Prince Rupert 2030, a new vision for the next decade of community growth and development in Prince Rupert.

The Prince Rupert 2030 Vision was unveiled on December 12th, 2019, at the Lester Centre of the Arts.

 
 
 

Our Goals

Redesign Rupert has three high-level goals that serve as a touchstone for all community partnerships, strategic initiatives, and action planning:

  1. Revitalize the downtown core through strategic investment & partnerships

  2. Establish new waterfront access points for the citizens of Prince Rupert

  3. Develop strategies to address a community-wide human capital shortage

2019 Initiatives

In 2019, Redesign Rupert is partnering with the Prince Rupert Port Authority, DP World, Ridley Terminals Inc., and Ray-Mont Logistics to launch a series of initiatives aimed at addressing some of Prince Rupert’s most pressing challenges.

  1. The development of Prince Rupert 2030, a new vision for the future of Prince Rupert.

  2. The execution of a 2019 Prince Rupert Labour Market Study to assess current workforce & recruitment needs.

  3. The establishment of a community recruitment brand.

Our Partners

We partner with local businesses and other key community stakeholders to find solutions to Prince Rupert’s biggest challenges.
